About the designer

For over 150 years, Waverley Mills has been weaving on the same site on the banks of Distillery Creek in Launceston, Tasmania. As the last mill of their kind in Australia, they're continuing a tradition of enduring warmth, with every blanket, throw and scarf designed, spun, woven and finished onsite. Their historic mill, just seven minutes from Launceston’s center, welcomes visitors to witness firsthand how they're preserving heritage craftsmanship, bringing together sustainability and tradition to craft woolen textiles that are made to last for generations. Proudly Australian made and owned.
