The Ariane Robe is a favourite new silhouette - an effortless robe, crafted in our dynamic multi-coloured broken stripe. The Bazaar Stripe takes three days to weave on a hand-loom by local weavers in India making this piece simultaneously unique and striking. It features an intricate broken stripe design; small blocks of colour of varying lengths within one stripe. To create this the weaver has to stop and change colours every time the colour changes within the one stripe which is extremely time consuming.

Perfect as a beach cover-up or a poolside outfit, it is also a great piece to wear over jeans as a light jacket. It features a deep neckline, patch pockets and a separate self tie belt.

Ilio Nema is an Australian fashion label founded by Ariane Leondaridis and Katia Kelso, two women of Greek heritage whose shared passion for artisanal craft was forged working together in New York. Built as a deliberate counterpoint to disposable fashion, each collection draws on slow, hand-crafted processes and globally sourced traditional techniques, creating garments designed to be nurtured, mended, and loved as heirlooms forever.
